Looking at a certain member's gallery and his submissions here, I have to issue a warning here...about recreating or tracing scenes and screenshots from various official Care Bears stuff.

See, the deviantART staff here doesn't allow direct recreations and tracings of official copyrighted stuff in your gallery (except for use in desktop shots, avatars, and webcam pics outside of the gallery) This also includes simple recolors of official artwork that you didn't do.

For example, let's say that you pull up a screenshot for reference. You then recreate this screenshot on paper, right down to the last exact detail. Scanning it, you then color it exactly like the shot, only with slight differences, and then you upload it to your DA gallery... Well, I'm afraid that is grounds for a policy violation. =/

See, deviantART is a do-it-yourself site completely. You can't put copyrighted material in your gallery at all...only as a desktop shot, for use as a webcam pic in the webcam section of your main page, and as a DA avatar. Otherwise, they'll ban you for it. That said, you CAN use copyrighted characters in your artwork, but only in your own original pose of him/her/it and in your own unique drawing style. That is what fanart is supposed to be: one's own interpretation of a character...not recreations/tracings of screenshots with that character in them.

Thus, for that reason and to abide by the rules, I have deleted the three most recent pics off of here. From now on, if you're going to trace a screenshot or some other copyrighted material, don't bother submitting it to this club, please.

Our Policy on Favorites - Revised

This policy is simple: DO NOT fave the deviations on the club gallery itself. If you want to fave something you like on the club, there is a link within that pic's description. Click on it, and it'll lead to the original pic found on that artist's gallery. Fave the original pics instead.

This does not apply to club exclusives, though. You are safe to fave those.

If we catch any of you violating this policy, you'll be booted off the club or, in case of non-members, reject your request to join.
